2025 FALL/WINTER De-COMMISSIONING

When the time comes for you to put your vessel to bed, we are here to assist you in any way.  This is probably the best attention you can give your boat to hibernate safely over the cold months. We have already had many new inquiries regarding Winter storage.  While we like to accommodate as many boats as possible, we are on a first come first stored basis and our yard will fill up quickly.

We encourage you to reach out to our Service Department with any questions about Winter Services and the hauling process. We are here to help you navigate the process and best practices for prepping your boat for winter conditions.

All requests are scheduled on a first-come-first-served basis. We will not be sending any marine services forms in the mail. The forms can be found below. They are also available at the Marina Service Center.

Please keep in mind that all service and yard requests must be submitted in writing. Please read the information below to proceed. Cape Ann Marina is not responsible for damage to vessels caused by freezing temps or late haul out requests post November 1st. Customers should expect up to 3-week wait times for service requests submitted after October 15th, but there is no guarantee.  Don’t wait until the last minute to submit your requests.

For returning Winter Storage customers, we have emailed you a storage renewal agreement. Keep in mind you will also need to fill out a Haul Request if you are coming by water, and let the Dockmaster know. For any winter services, you will also need to fill out a De-Commissioning Request Form. Both found below.

If you are a new customer please fill out this request: Winter Boat Storage Request and it will be emailed to our Storage Coordinator.  Please use one form per boat. Upon review of your submission we will get back to you on whether we can accommodate your vessel.

On this page you’ll find links to our Forms, which include the paperwork you need to requests services like a Haul Request and a De-commissioning Request. Just like in the spring, please send all your paperwork to the Service Coordinator. All paperwork, including an updated Certificate of Insurance, needs to be queued for your preferred haul date. We encourage you to reach out to our Service Coordinator, with any questions. She is ready and eager to facilitate all your engine servicing needs as well as hauling/launching, transport, winter services, and more. Contact Service via email or via phone at 978-283-0806 EXT 481. Please keep in mind all service and yard requests must be submitted in writing with the forms provided, and all requests are scheduled on a first come- first served basis. Any outstanding balances must be paid in full prior to new work requests. Payments can be made online. Credit Card and ACH are accepted. Make a secure payment here http://capeannmarina.com/payments

Any requests beyond the standard de-commissioning service must be scheduled separately as winter work. Confirmation of your request will be finalized and scheduled through our Service Department.

If you are transporting your vessel to or from the Marina via land you must call and make a reservation with the Service Coordinator.  If you are transporting your vessel via water, you need to contact the Service Coordinator AND the Dockmaster for arrival times and instructions.  This is critical – any vessels without reservations could be turned away.  Plan ahead.
