WEDDING WEEKEND EVENTS

Cape Ann’s Marina Resort can help create not only your unforgettable day, but an amazing weekend. Besides the wedding itself, our property has a number of venues that are also perfect for a rehearsal dinner, an after wedding party, and a farewell breakfast the next morning. You and your guests never have to leave the resort and each event will never be located in the same venue.

Rehearsal Dinner

 The Compass Room provides a perfect private space to host your wedding party after the rehearsal. The intimate room has beautiful large windows facing the salt marsh and features a private bar and private entrance.

After Wedding Party

 Don’t let the fun stop when the reception concludes; meet up on the Skywalk, a lofted area overlooking the indoor pool, the Aqua Room or the River Deck and let the party continue. Late night snacks provided with full bar service.

Post Wedding Breakfast

Treat your traveling guests to breakfast/brunch before the journey home. Book one of our beautiful private venues or join us at our Breakfast Blues Buffet with a build your own Bloody Mary Bar every Sunday mid-May thru mid-October.

Baby Showers and Bridal Showers

The Compass Room’s warm and inviting atmosphere can accommodate parties up to 45 people for a seated Baby/Bridal Shower and features a private bar and private entrance. The private indoor room has beautiful large windows look over the marina’s docks, saltmarsh and the river. Please inquire for evening events or Jack and Jill’s.

The Waterfront Pavilion

 The Waterfront Pavilion can accommodate up to 50-200 people for a seated bridal shower with the gift table positioned for your guests to look out on the water as the bride or the mother to be opens gifts. Mile Marker One provides all bar service at this venue and works closely with local trusted catering firms for food service to provide the best food and beverage service possible.  

BIRTHDAYS/ANNIVERSARIES

The River Deck, waterfront dining space, can accommodate birthday gatherings for parties up to 20 guests that want to order off the full menu. Cakes, from licensed bakeries, are welcome and are cut and plated for a nominal fee. Reservations are recommended for parties of 5 or more. Private dining is available during off-peak season.

The Compass Room’s

The Compass Room’s warm and inviting atmosphere can accommodate parties of 20-45 guests for a seated dinner and up to 65 guests for a cocktail style event. The private indoor room has beautiful large windows look over the marina’s docks, saltmarsh and the river and features a private bar and private entrance.

The Bridge Deck

The Bridge Deck offers a casual laid back atmosphere with live entertainment Thursday-Sunday during peak season. The tented deck delivers spectacular views of the Blynman Canal Drawbridge, the Annisquam River and Cape Ann’s Marina docks while providing covered and sun exposed seating. Semi-private event bookings are available during off peak dining times, while private bookings are considered before Memorial Day and after Labor Day.

Custom floorplans include all guest tables, banquet tables, cocktail tables, registration tables and chairs. Staging is available for live entertainment as well as lawn games for some guest entertainment. Mile Marker One provides all bar service at this venue and works closely with local trusted catering firms for food service to provide the best food and beverage service possible.

KID’S POOL PARTIES

The Kid’s Pool Parties are held in the Aqua Room Sky Walk. There are three packages that you can choose from: All packages include one hour of fully decorated private space on the skywalk for food, cake and gifts. The package also includes one hour of non-exclusive use of the pool for up to 20 children (each additional child is $10). The swim time is monitored by a certified lifeguard. Your Mile Marker One host will take care of setting up, breaking down and cleaning up so you can relax. Decorating with balloons and colored table clothes and happy birthday signage are all included. Additional hour of swim time is available for $50 which extends the party to a 3 hour event.

Base Package

The Base Package starts at $350 which includes 5 homemade pizzas (3 cheese and 2 pepperoni), Hoodsies and pitchers of lemonade for the kids.

Plus Package

The Plus Package is $425 and includes 4 homemade pizzas (2 cheese and 2 pepperoni), a platter of Chicken Fingers with honey mustard and ketchup, Garden Salad with Chef’s choice of two dressings, Hoodsies and pitchers of lemonade.

Platinum Package

The Platinum Package is $500 and includes 4 homemade pizzas (2 cheese and 2 pepperoni), Mozzarella Sticks with marinara sauce, Chicken Fingers with honey mustard and ketchup, Garden Salad with Chef’s choice of two dressings, Ice Cream sundaes with whip cream, chocolate sauce and cherries, pitchers of lemonade, fountain sodas from the bar, and pool noodles for the kids as party favors.

Sports Banquets and "End of Season" Parties

Sports Banquets are held in the Aqua Room Sky Walk and Compass Room. All banquet packages include two hours of private space in the Compass Room and Sky Walk for food, cake and gifts. All packages also include non-exclusive use of the pool following the banquet. Mile Marker One staff will take care of setting up, breaking down and cleaning up so you can relax. Plastic ware for the all food will be provided along with pitchers of lemonade and water on the tables. Bronze Package

The Bronze Package is $12.50 per person and includes Garden Salad with Italian & Ranch, Cheese Pizzas and French Fries

Silver Package

The Silver Package is $17.00 per person and includes Dinner Rolls & Butter, Garden Salad with Italian & Ranch, Penne Pasta with Parmesan Cheese, Mini Meatballs in Marinara Sauce, Chicken Fingers with Honey Mustard, Steamed Broccoli and Alfredo Sauce.

Gold Package

The Gold Package is $22.00 per person and includes Dinner Rolls & Butter, Garden Salad with Italian & Ranch, Mozzarella Sticks with Marinara Sauce, Penne Pasta with Parmesan Cheese, Mini Meatballs in Marinara Sauce, Chicken Fingers with Honey Mustard, Steamed Broccoli, Alfredo Sauce, and Ice Cream Sundaes.

Platinum Package

The Platinum Package is $27.00 per person and includes Dinner Rolls & Butter Pads, Garden Salad with Italian & Ranch, Mozzarella Sticks with Marinara Sauce, Penne Pasta with Parmesan Cheese, Mini Meatballs in Marinara Sauce, Chicken Fingers with Honey Mustard, Baked Haddock with crumb topping, Steamed Broccoli, Alfredo Sauce and Ice Cream Sundaes.
