You can’t get much closer than traveling a quick 12 miles off Gloucester to a national marine preserve deemed on the “Top 5 Whale Watching Destinations in the World” by the World Wildlife Fund because of the many whale species that migrate off the coast of Gloucester every year to feed on the plentiful natural resources. Gloucester is also close to Jeffrey’s ledge another popular place for feeding and whale sightings.
