What you need to know...
- Igloo reservations are highly recommended and can be reserved online through the button below. For indoor dining please call us at 978-283-2122.
- Our unique custom built Igloos are designed with full size doors and plenty of head room
- We have maximized air-flow with vents at the top, and since they are built on a deck, the air comes up through the floor boards. You can also control the airflow by cracking the door.
- Igloos are fully disinfected after each party with our covid-19 safety protocols.
- Space heaters keep the igloos toasty warm, and can be controlled within.
- Igloo rental fee is a flat $30 for 90 mins, with time built in to fully disinfect. There is no igloo rental fee for breakfast only Wednesday-Friday.
- Up to 6 people are allowed due to state guidelines.
- Absolutely no smoking inside or on the deck.

Mile Marker One is a local’s favorite waterfront restaurant and bar located in Gloucester, MA just 40 minutes north of Boston. Situated in the heart of a working waterfront marina, our various spaces have been designed to capture the best panoramic views of the beautiful Annisquam River and marina life year round.
Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We offer a variety of dishes from seafood, oysters, lobster rolls, steak, salads, sandwiches, burgers, appetizers and more that were created using fresh, local and in-season ingredients. Try one of our local trap-to-table lobster dishes sourced from our family-owned fishing boat, delivered fresh to the marina docks daily. Or, try our farm-to-table salads topped with grass-fed beef.
Whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner date, a fun girl’s night out, or a laid back spot for the entire family to enjoy, Mile Marker One will have what you are looking for. Choose between our year-round indoor dining and seasonal outdoor deck dining options.
Massachusetts reopening Phase III Mandatory Safety Standards:
- Masks must be worn when not seated. Customers may remove face coverings while seated at tables.
- You must maintain at least six feet from members of other parties
- Bars are closed in Massachusetts until Phase 4; patrons must order and eat food if you are going to order alcoholic beverages
- Alcoholic beverages may only be served for on-site consumption if accompanied by orders for food prepared on-site
- For each customer, an item of prepared food must be ordered
- One or more shareable food item(s) may be ordered, as long as it/they would sufficiently server the number of people at the table.
- Tables have been positioned so to maintain at least a 6-foot distance from all other tables, patrons are no allowed to physically move any table.
- The size of the party seated at a table cannot exceed 6 people
- All customers must be seated and remain seated, no visiting or jumping between tables, standing customers are prohibited
Anyone no following the above safety standards will be asked to please leave the establishment.
TRAP TO TABLE - FARM TO TABLE
Cape Ann’s Marina’s has modified its “Dock & Dine” for Mile Marker One. Radio on VHF 10 for assistance as your vessel approaches the marina, please wear your face masks while you are here and our staff assist. Prepare your lines and fenders. To-Go orders must be placed prior to coming to the dock. A confirmed reservation during busy times, will be required to tie up. Take out pickup – one person needs to stay on board at all times. There is no picking up or dropping off of passengers.
