Mile Marker One is a local’s favorite waterfront restaurant and bar located in Gloucester, MA just 40 minutes north of Boston. Situated in the heart of a working waterfront marina, our various dining spaces have been designed to capture the best panoramic views of the beautiful Annisquam River and marina life year round.
We offer a variety of fresh dishes from seafood, oysters, lobster rolls, steak, salads, sandwiches, grass-fed beef & burgers, appetizers and more that we create using fresh, local and in-season ingredients. Our Chef prepares specials each week like, pan-seared halibut over a lobster arancini, a grass fed rib eye or lobster benedict to name a few.
We have many gluten-free options along with some vegan dishes too. Try one of our local trap-to-table lobster dishes sourced from our family-owned fishing boat, delivered fresh to the marina docks. Taste our fresh Raw Bar selections or, try our farm-to-table salads. All our seafood is locally sourced and fresh (never frozen) off the Gloucester fishermen’s boats.
Whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner date, a fun girls’ night out, corporate lunch, Sunday brunch or a laid back spot for the entire family to enjoy, Mile Marker One will have what you are looking for. Choose between our year-round indoor dining, lounge, and bar seating. Or our seasonal outdoor deck (May-Oct) dining, bar seating and Raw bar and amazing Igloo Dining Experience (Nov-April), mastered during the pandemic, but back by demand. Our new 2024 clear dome heated igloos are authentic and a must “experience”. Mile Marker One is only open for breakfast on the weekends and Sunday Brunch too. If you are a guest in our Hotel, we have a continental breakfast Mon-Fri.

NEW BIGLOO LOUNGE “Big Igloo”
Our new big igloo, is open with no reservations needed. No fee Lounge with its own satellite bar. A super unique experience open to everyone to pop-in for a featured cocktail, mingle and nibble with friends, or a “drink” before dinner. Full menu available. Follow us on social to watch for our pop-up schedule. This is also available for private parties.
