Mile Marker One is a local’s favorite waterfront restaurant and bar located in Gloucester, MA just forty minutes north of Boston. Situated in the heart of a working waterfront marina, our various dining spaces have been designed to capture the best panoramic views of the marina life and the ever-changing Annisquam River and Gloucester Harbor beyond.

Using fresh, local and in-season ingredients, our menu offers a variety of seafood, oysters, lobster rolls, steak, pasta sautés, salads, sandwiches, grass-fed beef & burgers, appetizers and so much more. Our Chef uses locally sourced fresh fish and farm fresh produce to prepare weekly specials – a few: pan-seared halibut over a lobster arancini, grass-fed rib eye, blacked swordfish, lobster benedict, local fresh fried clams and so many more. We’re excited to announce that The Sun Deck is officially open! Our brand new waterfront deck and container bar overlook the marina, offering the perfect spot to relax, sip your favorite cocktails, and enjoy light bites right on the water.
Whether you’re catching the sunset, watching the boats drift by, seeking your next Instagrammable spot, or spending time with friends and family, the Sun Deck is your place to embrace salt water life and endless summer vibes.
The Sun Deck will be open whenever the weather holds—so there’s always a reason to unwind and soak it all in.
