Dear Pool Member,
We are writing to give you an update on the status of reopening our indoor pool. These have been trying times for all of us. We continue to navigate the unprecedented variables through this pandemic. The pool is one part of the Resort and its actual location abuts other parts of the Resort that need to function as well. Together we are looking at the big picture as a whole. Thus what might work at other indoor pools, might not work here because of our integration. Our team continues to work on problem solving for the safest environments possible.
Due to the capacity restrictions for the pool/area and bathrooms, enforced by the State of Massachusetts and the City of Gloucester, we have decided to open the pool in stages. At this time, we cannot guarantee when or how long each stage will last or remain open. Stage one is currently underway.
Stage one -The pool only, no spa, is open in a limited controlled capacity to hotel and transient boat guests.
Stage two – The pool could be open in a limited controlled capacity to hotel, transient boat guests and existing pool members including punch card holders. Details of this stage will be determined prior to a notice moving to Stage 2.
Stage three – The pool could be open in a limited controlled capacity to hotel, transient boat guests, existing pool members including punch card holders, new memberships and day passes. Details of this stage will be determined prior to a notice moving to Stage 3.
While we don’t know when we will move to Stage two or possibly close again, we are thankful for your patience and understanding. As we roll into fall and winter, our seasons could also affect our operations. We will continue to operate the facility in the safest possible way we can to keep our team and our guests safe.
Be well, stay safe and remember we are all in this together.
