COVID-19 Closure Notice - Cape Ann’s Marina Aqua Room March 17, 2020

To our valued customers and guests,  In accordance with the “On Premise Ban” a state-wide mandate, Governor Baker has declared that all restaurants & bars in Massachusetts to close for in store dining and all social gatherings of 25 people or more to be canceled, as of March 17, 2020, due to the COVID-19 outbreak to ensure social distancing, a measure of public safety. It is with that in mind that, Mile Marker One and the Aqua Room Pool will temporarily shut down during this time to ensure the safety of our customers and guests. We hope to reopen very soon for normal business hours, as soon as it is safe to do so.  

Our Events Department is working on rescheduling or refunding anyone with deposits for scheduled events between now and April 17th. Should you have any questions or concerns, or to reschedule your event please email Jessica at Events@capeannmarina.com. 

As of today, we are not planning on any closures for the hotel and we are still accepting overnight guests. However, due to the state health concerns our front desk hours will be limited to Monday – Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday and Sunday 8am-8pm. Please note that this could change at any time due to future circumstances. We are actively monitoring guidelines from the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and local authorities. The health, safety and comfort of our customers remain our highest priority. We have put in place enhanced cleaning measures which include: more frequent sanitizing of heavily trafficked areas and all hard surfaces. We also have hand sanitizer available at the hotel front desk, should you need some.

Sadly, if you need to cancel your reservations we understand. Please call the hotel front desk to re-book your stay for the future, 978-283-2116.

Cape Ann Marina and Cape Ann Marine Sales & Service departments are operating as usual with a much-anticipated boating season ahead – stay positive. We are taking special precautions to clean our work and shop areas, practicing social distancing and tending to the boats that have already submitted their spring service requests. As much as we love to see our boaters stop by the marina, we would ask at this time that we limit our in-person visits. We would like you to submit your service requests by calling us at 978-283-0806 or via email to service@capeannmarina.com For inquires on new sales for outboards, trailers and electronics, give us a call.

Please be advised if you are going to visit our resort property and you are experiencing any of the following symptoms, we ask you to please stay home: Coughing, Sneezing, Fever, Difficulty breathing, or Shortness of breath.

The Aqua Room is a newly, renovated 6,000 sq. foot atrium wrapped around a 35,000 gallon heated pool and Jacuzzi surrounded by lush tropical plants and floor to ceiling windows. This is the perfect venue for kid’s parties and adult parties alike, featuring full food and beverage service. Order off the menu or grab a frozen specialty drink and lounge by the pool. Outfitted with multiple flat screen televisions, loungers, and tables. Locker rooms are equipped with showers, restrooms, dressing areas, and options for daily or long term locker rentals available. Pool towels are available for rent at the hotel front desk. 

New for 2020! Our Grab & Go Cooler is stocked with freshly prepared goodness for you to take on-the-go. Choose from Mile Marker One’s premade sandwiches, wraps, salads, and healthy snacks. Great option for boating, taking to the beach, grabbing a quick lunch and more! 

The Sky Walk, on the second level, is a private 1200 sq. foot open concept balcony overlooking the pool and views of the Annisquam River. This is ideal for casual parties of all occasions, and is available on its own or in conjunction with the Aqua Room and/or Compass Room. Kid’s Pool Parties can be booked on Saturdays and Sundays only from 12-2pm and 3-5pm.
